Taviefe Senior High School Computer Lab Project

In line with our mission to support major development projects back home and in response to the urgent

need of Taviefe Senior High School, TACONA contracted VRM Systems & Gadgets in Accra to set up a

state of the art ICT Laboratory (Phase I) in August 2021. It is expected that the ICT lab will help integrate the students into the 21st Century Technology World.

Components of the Lab include, among others:

12 - HP Slimline 270-p027 Core i3-7100T 3.9GHz 8GB 1TB Desktop PC.

1 - Workstation PC/Server HP Pavilion 590-p0081c Core i5-8400 Six-Core 2.8GHz.

12 - 18.5" HP Silver Monitors.

1 - Ubiquiti UAP-AC-PRO Access Point

1 - Ubiquiti Nano Station M2

To make the Lab effective and always functional, TACONA has also provided a 15 KVA Energetic Japan

Honda Diesel Generator (for backup with an automatic switchover) to kick off in times of power outages.

We believe this goodwill/generous donation of TACONA will go a long way to keep the students abreast

with the latest communication and Internet technology around the globe. TACONA members are very

committed to the expansion of the project (Phase II) and therefore call on all citizens of Taviefe and other

friends of Taviefe (in North America) to join the campaign to provide more computers and other

accessories for the new ICT Lab.
